A Main
It would be Ethan Winter and Koby Noonan sharing the front row for the 50 Lap A Main, and with track work taking place beforehand, it was key to maintain position early and have a good car underneath you for late in the race. Harry Stewart who started third, quickly made is way into the lead as the track evolved on every circulation, further challenging the drivers. Blake Walsh who started 9th, charged to 2nd and then engaged in a mega battle with Stewart, exchanging sliders for laps on end, also inviting Paul Bryan, Clayton Davies and many others into the battle.
Unfortunately for Stewart, he clipped the inside wall in Turn 3, damaging the front end of the Q96 ending his night. Bradley Oldfield seemed to come out of no where and challenged Walsh for the lead in the late stages of the race, taking the race lead inside 10 to go and hung on for his first win of the season, and incredibly, Oldfield come from 17th to take the win, which is the furthest someone has come from to win a ASC Series event. Blake Walsh would finish second ahead of Darcy Wilson who come from 22nd! Ethan Winter and Cole Ferguson would round out the Top 5!
The longest race of the year is over, and now drivers focus turns to Lanier Speedway for the MadHouse Industries Short Track Nationals next week, the Final Race of the 2025 Season.
